By Faith Living means:
In 2014 I decided to live intentionally by faith because I wanted to start living like I believe.
I decided I wanted to experience God in a new way, humbled by His power, but drawn to Him because of His love and grace.
I wanted to discover God’s purpose for me and uncover my passion.
I am learning by faith living means to let go of fears, or at least take actions despite the fears and trust God for the outcome.
To remind me of the process I started using “by faith” to represent seasons of this ongoing journey.
God has shown me hidden treasures in the process and is ever expanding my understanding of by faith living.
· Knowing what you believe and growing in your beliefs I Peter 3:15
· How you live out your faith, not just by doing, but by being with God Psalms 46:10
· How you live out your faith in love, for God, yourself, and others Matthew 22:37-39
· Living out your faith requires a renewed mind Romans 12:1-2
What the sunflower represents:
The sunflower to me personally is a symbol of love and hope because it reminds me of my Oma (German for grandmother) who loved sunflowers and she was such a happy joyous person full of love.
I also like what I found googling the meaning on sunflowers. They represent focus, healing, and warmth.
One website describes the sunflower as, “it symbolizes faith and adoration for all that is, the true faith and loyalty to something that is much bigger and brighter than themselves….in esoteric Christianity, the sunflower is a symbol of God’s love. It relates to self-respect, which means being authentic and embracing your own individuality. (Aug. 26, 2019, soulsgreenhouse.com)
I agree with that, if you look at a field of sunflowers they know their purpose, to look to the sun.
Let us be sunflowers looking to the Son-Jesus and fulfill our purpose.
